After five plays in six years, the Royal Theater's barber shop series came to an end on Saturday, September 27, 2014, with the final performance of A Barber Shop Farewell. Immeidately following the show, Archer City native Jim Bob Crowley (who portrayed Joe in the series) was honored with a plaque in appreciation for his many years of devotion and contributions to the Royal as an actor and director. Needless to say, it was a very special night for all in attendance.
